Trout

The marbled lines show through the printed areas as fish would look in flowing water. The French hand marbled papers are not designed for the etching process. They are traditionally used in fine bookbinding. The paper was pushed to its limit, just shy of tearing. The result is prominent embossing from doubled copper plates.
